Theron Sunderland

Theron Sunderland, also known as Theronious, is a Bentonville-based vinyl DJ, educator, and sound curator dedicated to preserving and advancing analog music culture in Northwest Arkansas. With a deep foundation in house, techno, jazz, and soul, his sets are rooted in intentional listening, storytelling, and the physical craft of vinyl mixing.

He has performed and curated music experiences across the region, including residencies and events at Loveless Cocktail Club, Scotch & Soda, Bike Rack Brewing, and collaborations with cultural institutions such as Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, The Momentary, and Bentonville Community Radio.

Beyond performance, Theron is a committed educator who has led hands-on DJ and music technology workshops for students, interns, and the public—focusing on vinyl mixing, sound system fundamentals, and analog synthesis. His teaching emphasizes discipline, listening skills, and real-world creative development.

Today, he continues his residency at Loveless Cocktail Club while expanding access to music education through the DJ Listening Lab at Get Real Board Shop’s Music Box—creating a space where beginners and experienced artists alike can engage with vinyl, develop their skills, and connect through sound.
